Hey baby, here is that concert review you wanted! Blessthefall are currently touring on their Gallows 2025 tour in support of their new album Gallows, their first album released in seven years, and they stopped to perform at Nevermore Hall in Baltimore, MD on 9/24/2024. Colorblind, Dark Divine, and Miss May I are the openers on this bill and I can’t think of a better way to warm up a crowd. Non-stop chaos, crowd surfers, jumping and headbanging are just a few descriptors for the evening. Blessthefall always puts on a phenomenal show and this night was not any different!
Anyway, continue reading below for more photos of Blessthefall and my full review of the show. The night started off with solid sets from Colorblind, Dark Divine, and Miss May I. Each band performed a tight set and did an amazing job warming up the crowd. When Blessthefall took the stage Nevermore Hall erupted with screams, excitement, and cheers from a crowd that was ready to party. Blessthefall started off with a strong opener of “Mallxcore,” “Cutthroat,” and “Hollow Bodies.” These three songs contain non-stop energy and riffs that the crowd completely ate up. I know i couldn’t stop smiling during the time I was photographing them.
Blessthefall performed a sixteen song setlist containing hits from their whole discography. Some highlights were “Promised Ones,” “Guys Like You Make Us Look Bad,” “Bottom Feeder,” “Youngbloods,” and “Wake The Dead.” This was such an amazing setlist! Blessthefall really knows how to put a set together that ebbs and flows with energy getting the crowd involved. Something that always amazes me with Blessthefall is the amount of crowd surfers (which is tradition for any first timers)! People work so hard to get to the front and Beau Bokan always tries to give a high five to anyone who makes it. But some people might need a poncho with the amount of water spraying at the show!
One of my favorite moments is when they performed “2.0” leading into “What’s Left of Me.” During this song Jared Wrath, bass and unclean vocals, gives Bokan the bass while Wrath jumps into the crowd to scream along with the fans. At times, he shoves the mic into the crowd to get them to scream the parts as well. This happened right after I left the pit and I hoofed it to grab the shot I know I needed to get. I am not disapointed with the outcome!
I always enjoy watching the members of Blessthefall interact with each other. They always look like they are having the best time no matter what happens. Even when Jared Wrath’s microphone died in the beginning, Bokan rushed over and held up his own mic to Wrath to continue his parts. There was even a moment where Eric Lambert, guitar, shared a serious glance with Wrath, then immediately both of them started laughing. Their performance really makes you feel like part of the family! You cannot attend a Blessthefall show and be sad at the same time.
If you ever have the chance to see Blessthefall, do not hesitate for a second. They are the band I have seen the most and I will never miss a show again, especially after their seven year hiatus. They have a few dates left on this tour so do whatever you can to go see them! If you are unable to, make sure to pick up their album Gallows and give it a listen! This is their first album in seven years and it shouldn’t be missed! Below are more photos of Blessthefall performing at Nevermore Hall in Baltimore, MD on 9/24/2025.
